PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for printing wherein a screen printing film, in which a printing film of an overlapped portion of a two-color printing pattern is not peeled off, can be formed, and a good printing film free from omissions in printing can be obtained. SOLUTION: In a method for printing a supporting body to be printed using ink by scraping ink on a screen plate by means of a squeegee, when an edge of a printing pattern of one of colors is superposed on an edge of a printing pattern of the other color to perform printing, a maximum thickness of superposed films satisfies the following equation: (maximum film thickness of superposed portion)<(average film thickness of printing pattern of one of colors)+(average film thickness of printing pattern of other color).
