<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low cost optical fiber module which has a high degree of freedom of design for a mother board and high-reliability. SOLUTION: The optical fiber module consisting of a PCB(printed-circuit board) 30, an upper frame 10 and a lower frame 20 penetrates a mother opening part 61 and a lower frame opening part 21 with a mother board 60, and is fixed to the upper frame opening part 11 by a tapping screw 70. The electrical coupling of the optical fiber module with the mother board 60 is carried out through a PCB connector 32 and a mother connector 62. A shield member is provided to shield an LD(laser diode).</p> |
