PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a game board to make both faces usable at the same time, and to reduce the burden of piece reversing operation by holding pieces reversibly to the game board. SOLUTION: This facing type game board A with a frame body 1 erected in a vertical direction, is constituted to operate the pieces reversibly from both faces on the frame body front face 1a side and the frame body back face 1b side. The piece 3 is provided with a through hole 5a bored passing through the center, and a shaft 5 is inserted through the through hole 5a to make the piece 3a rotatable around the shaft 5. Inside the frame body 1, a plurality of shafts 5 each journaling a plurality of pieces 3 rotatably are mounted, and spacers 6 are interposed between the adjacent pieces 3 to constitute to rotate the pieces 3 independently. Further, the inside of the through hole of the piece 3 and/or the shaft 5 is provided with a mechanism capable of locking and holding the piece in a predetermined turning angle position. Addition chips 8 for adding information are detachably stuck to the surface 3a and back face 3b of the piece 3.
