PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing connecting members of a drain-board-like floor mat which retains a rectangular shape even though connecting members are cut by visual measurement and the connecting members of different lengths are mixed and combines a gorgeous and stately feeling without making sounds when being stepped on and the functionality of a metallic mat, and a device for fixing connecting members of a drain-board-like floor mat. SOLUTION: The drain-board-like floor mat is never deformed into a rhomboid shape since at least one of a plurality of connecting members is constituted not to move in the direction of a connecting groove even if the connecting members are deformed due to changes in atmospheric temperatures. For example, when the bar members are mutually connected, not the connecting members located inside but the connecting members at the end part of the bar members are fixed. The drain-board-like floor mat is never deformed since the movements of the connecting members at both ends are prevented even if the connecting members located inside have different lengths.
