PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adsorb a large volume of nitrogen even under a normal temperature and normal pressure condition or a normal temperature vacuum condition by providing copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite having a higher gas adsorbing activity, especially a nitrogen adsorbing capacity than a conventional existing adsorbent material. SOLUTION: This adsorbent material includes at least copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite and the ion exchange ratio of the copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite is 130-250%.
