A halogen worklight having a first outer housing and a second housing containing a light source. The second housing is disposed within the first housing. A gap is maintained between the first housing and the second housing in which heated air is contained. To maintain the temperature of the first housing below that of the second housing cooling holes are located on the first housing for venting the heated air.
