PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing fabric which is used for ink jet, has a light weight, a natural surface touch and opacity, and is preferable as an advertising medium. SOLUTION: This printing base fabric for ink jet is obtained by coating a printability-improving agent on a woven fabric comprising polyester-based synthetic fibers having hollow cross sections, respectively. The woven fabric preferably comprises the spun yarns of the polyester-based synthetic fibers having hollow cross sections. The polyester-based synthetic fibers preferably comprise the fibers containing an inorganic particle masking agent in an amount of 1 to 10 wt.%. |
