PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-resistant container capable of improving pressure-resistant strength, without increasing a physical constitution and weight. SOLUTION: This pressure-resistant container has a cylindrical body housing 111 and end part housings 112 and 113 blocking up an end part opening of the body housing 111, and is provided for applying predetermined internal pressure Ps by arranging a predetermined apparatus 130 inside. The end part housings 112 and 113 have a joining part 113a formed in a cylindrical shape and welded and joint with an overlap margin to an end part of the body housing 111, an end part forming part 113b forming a blocking-up surface of the end part opening, and a connecting part 113c connecting the joining part 113a and the end part forming part 113b.
