PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat power generation device capable of materializing maximization of the quantity of recovery heat, maintenance of heat transmission efficiency of a steam generator, and inhibition of liquid dropping in working medium steam. SOLUTION: In the exhaust heat power generation device provided with a plate type heat exchanger as the steam generator, introducing exhaust heat medium from an exhaust heat source 30 to the steam generator 11, leading generated working medium steam to a turbine generator 16, generating electric power by driving the turbine generator 16, leading discharged working medium steam to a condenser 17, cooling and condensing working medium steam by low heat medium from a low heat source (cooling tower 40), and supplying the steam generator 11 with the condensed working medium liquid, degree of superheating of the working medium steam at a steam discharge port or section corresponding to the same of the steam generator 11 is controlled to a predetermined target value by increasing and decreasing quantity of working medium liquid supplied to the steam generator 11.
