PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which is suitable for producing large capacity and high breakdown voltage, and to provide an electronic component, and a manufacturing method of the capacitor. SOLUTION: The capacitor A1, having a base material 11 with a plurality of trenches 11, the base material 1, is such that at least a portion that defines the plurality of trenches 11 is made of an insulating material, and furthermore, the capacitor has an anode 2, stored in one of the adjacent trenches 11 from among the plurality of trenches 11 and a cathode stored in the other of the adjacent trenches 11.
