<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment cooling apparatus for effectively cooling electronic equipment without using water. <P>SOLUTION: A cabinet 11 for housing the electronic equipment 3 includes front and rear openings, and a rear door 12 for closing the rear opening 65 in such a manner as to prevent circulation of air is provided at the rear opening 65. A refrigerant evaporator 21 that forms a refrigeration cycle is positioned at an opening provided in the upper or lower surface of the cabinet 11. A fan 15 of the evaporator 21 sucks in indoor air from the front of the cabinet 11.
