PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music copy monitoring program or the like which can perform appropriate copy management also in personal computers. SOLUTION: The copyright information transmitting means 24 in a music reproducing means 2 transmits the copyright information of the music content to be reproduced to the decision means 42 of the monitoring means 4 upon receiving a reproduction instruction. The decision means decides whether the received copyright information is "copy permission" or not. The copyright information control means 44 of the monitoring means usually gives "copy non-permission" instructions to a passing control means 62. When the decision means 42 receives a copyright information of "copy permission", it is so informed and gives a "copy permission" instruction to the passing control means. The passing control means controls the copyright information of the music content outputted from the music device 8, depending on the "copy permission" or "copy non-permission" instruction from the copyright information control means.
