摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoacoustic measuring instrument which allows measurement with high accuracy while controlling so that the amount of light by illumination means, caused by a measurement position difference, is made optimum. SOLUTION: The optoacoustic measuring instrument includes: a pressure holding means constituted of flat plates for pressuring an object to be measured; the illumination means for illuminating the object to be measured with the use of light from a pulse light source via the pressure holding means; and an ultrasonic detecting means for detecting ultrasonic wave due to the light made incident on the object to be measured from the illumination means, as an optoacoustic signal. The instrument also includes: an information storage means for previously storing information concerning relation between the mechanical change of the pressure holding means, the illumination means or the ultrasonic detecting means, and the change of the light amount; and a light amount adjusting means for adjusting the light amount, based on the information of the information storage means with respect to the mechanical change of the pressure holding means, the illumination means or the ultrasonic detecting means.
