PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric elastomer which prevents stress concentration due to impurities, flaws, foams or residues, produced in a crosslinking step and exiting or interposed on the surface of a film or in the film while being biased, while allowing up-sizing and long life.SOLUTION: In a dielectric elastomer transducer having a dielectric elastomer film mainly composed of a cross-linked polymer and two electrodes provided on the opposite sides thereof, stress concentration due to impurities, flaws, foams or residues, produced in a crosslinking step and exiting or interposed on the surface of a film or in the film while being biased, is prevented, and the dielectric elastomer is subjected to electron beam cross-linking. It is also effective that the polymer selects silicon rubber as a material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
