PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that is further enhanced in performance.SOLUTION: An antenna has an antenna main body 1 that is mechanically connected to an open end of a power supply waveguide, and an internal waveguide 2 provided in the antenna main body 1. The antenna main body 1 has a horn portion 10 and a projection portion 11. The horn portion 10 is configured in a cylindrical shape to be opened at both ends thereof and gradually increase in inner diameter from the rear end as a power supply side to the front end as a radiation side. The projection portion 11 is configured in a cylindrical shape to be uniform in inner diameter r2 and project forwards from the front end of the horn portion 10. The inner waveguide 2 is configured in a cylindrical shape to be uniform in inner diameter r4 and so that the length d in the axial direction of the inner waveguide is shorter than the length in the axial direction of the projection portion 11. The center axis of the inner waveguide 2 is overlapped with the center axis O of the projection portion 11, and the inner waveguide 2 is disposed inside the projection portion 11 so as not to protrude forwards from the front end of the projection portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
