The present invention relates to a connection device for a cross beam of a handrail and to a connection device for a cross beam of a handrail, which can be easily constructed and can be installed in accordance with geographic features of the ground in which a structure such as the handrail is installed, and an installation method for the same. According to the present invention, the connection device includes: a pillar embedded into the ground at fixed intervals; the cross beam installed between the pillars; and a connection member and an elastic member for fixing and connecting the pillar and the cross beam. The elastic member has an elastic body unit and an elastic unit to control elasticity and a direction in accordance with contraction and expansion of the cross beam. |
