FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automotive industry. Installation for surface treatment of automotive bodies comprises the first and the second processing zones, and a transmitting device. First and the second processing zones comprise the first and the second transport systems, respectively. By means of transmitting device, a car body may be transmitted from the first transport system to the second one. Transmitting device comprises fasteners to provide the automotive body grip at several points of which one is located in the lowest point of horizontally oriented and roof-up automotive body. First and the second transport systems are designed with option of the automotive body transportation without any separate bearing structure for the automotive body. Method of transportation of automotive bodies through the body surface treatment plant consists in the fact that the automotive body is transported through the processing zone by means of the transport system.EFFECT: better operating conditions for the body treatment plant.14 cl, 21 dwg |
