The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescence display apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic electroluminescence display apparatus of a top emission method forms an auxiliary electrode between double overcoat layers under an anode and makes the auxiliary electrode come in contact with an upper cathode to reduce resistance of the cathode. Especially, the method removes a portion of the auxiliary electrode at the same time in patterning the anode to form a gap exposing the lower auxiliary electrode to the upper overcoat layer, and then directly contacting the exposed lower auxiliary electrode and the cathode. According to the present invention, an additional process is not required, which simplifies a process and reduces costs. In addition, as the resistance of the cathode is reduced, uniformity of brightness is improved.
