Provided is an illumination apparatus having high light controllability. Toward this end, the illumination apparatus (1) is provided with a light source (15), and a lamp body (10) having an elongated reflector (12) for reflecting the light from the light source (15) and emitting the light from a light emission opening (K). Taking the light source (15) side to be the upper side, the light emission opening (K) side to be the lower side, and a straight line that extends vertically through the center of the light source (15) in a cross section cut on a plane that is orthogonal in the longitudinal direction to the lamp body (10) as the center line (Cn) of the lamp body (10), the reflector (12) has: a first reflecting surface (12a1) positioned on one side using the center line (Cn) as a reference, the first reflecting surface (12a1) reflecting the light from the light source (15) diagonally downward on the other side; and a second reflecting surface (12a2) positioned on the other side, the second reflecting surface (12a2) reflecting the light from the light source (15) diagonally downward on the one side. |
