PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle relay device capable of restraining read/write of data from being failed due to shortage of power.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle relay device 1 determines a possibility of data read/write on the basis of a required power storage amount of a capacitor 51 required for read/write of data and a residual power storage amount of the capacitor 51. The required power storage amount of the capacitor 51 increases as the amount of data to be read/written increases. Consequently, when the residual power storage amount is equal to or more than the required power storage amount, there is no risk that the residual power storage amount of the capacitor 51 is exhausted before the end of reading/writing of the data. Thus, when it is determined that it is possible to read/write data, the in-vehicle relay device 1 makes an ECU 3 that is an in-vehicle control unit, start reading/writing of the data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
