PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system capable of improving convenience with respect to information distribution using sound by distributing, to each of a plurality of areas, information differing from information for the other areas by using sound.SOLUTION: An information distribution system includes: a sound emission apparatus including a speaker for emitting, to each of a plurality of areas whose parts at least overlap with each other, acoustic identification information differing from information for the other areas; a priority level storage unit for storing priority levels for a plurality of pieces of information; and a portable terminal apparatus including a sound collection unit for collecting sound emitted by the sound emission apparatus, a demodulation unit for separating identification information from the collected sound to demodulate the identification information, a selection unit for selecting information having a higher priority level out of the demodulated identification information, and a reproduction processing unit for reproducing a content corresponding to the selected identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
