PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, and capable of giving stable image density over a long period of time even in a double side printing mode in which a printer body is likely to raise its temperature.SOLUTION: A toner that includes toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, organic inorganic composite microparticles, and silica microparticles is characterized in that (1) the organic inorganic composite microparticles include a plurality of projections derived from inorganic microparticles on the surface of resin particles, the number average particle size (D1) of the organic inorganic composite microparticles is 70 nm or more and 500 nm or less, and the form coefficient SF-2 measured at a magnification of 200,000 is 103 or more and 120 or less; and (2) the BET specific surface area of the silica microparticles is 50 m/g or more and 300 m/g or less, and when a propeller type blade is infiltrated into the surface of a powder layer of the silica microparticles prepared by applying a vertical load of 0.5 kPa in a measurement container of a powder fluidity measuring apparatus, while the outermost edge part of the propeller type blade is rotated at a peripheral velocity of 100 mm/sec, the total energy is 30 mJ or more and 50 mJ or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
