The present invention relates to a system for pedestrian safety at a crosswalk. The system for pedestrian safety at a crosswalk includes: a pedestrian detection unit detecting the existence or pass of a human; a signal identification unit identifying whether or not a pedestrian signal light is a stop signal or a pedestrian signal; a blind people system voice guidance detection unit; a blind people system voice guidance presence/absence identification unit identifying whether or not a blind people system is performing voice guidance or not; a control unit outputting a guidance voice or a warning sound through a sound output unit; and a sound output unit outputting the guidance voice or warning sound by the control of the control unit, thereby helping a pedestrian observe a traffic signal safely.
