PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant material capable of imparting flame retardancy by being applied onto or impregnated into articles such as cloth or paper, the flame-retardant material capable of exhibiting high fire retardancy, achieving a soft film, and having excellent transparency, and also to provide a flame-retardant film formed with the flame-retardant material, a flame-retardant article having the flame-retardant film, and a manufacturing method of the flame-retardant article.SOLUTION: A flame-retardant material includes a resin component, a flame-retardant filler and a dispersion assistant to disperse the flame-retardant filler.
