摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a favorable cycle characteristic, particularly a favorable cycle characteristic under high temperature. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode formed by binding a lithium containing metal composite oxide which will be a positive electrode active material with a positive electrode binding agent and a negative electrode formed by binding a carbon material which will be a negative electrode active material with a negative electrode binding agent is constituted so as that the lithium containing metal composite oxide contains a laminated rock salt structure lithium-nickel composite oxide represented by a composition formula LiyNi1-xCox1Mx2O2 (M is one or more selected from Al, Fe, Mn, and B; 0.01<=x<=0.5; x=x1+x2; 0.01<=x1<=0.5; 0<=x2<=0.3; 0.9<=y<=1.3), and the negative electrode binding agent contains a water soluble high polymer.
