<p>Blow-moulded articles are removed from the moulds by gripping jaws 26 mounted on radial arms 23 of a rotatable gripping means 22. The removed articles are transferred to a chute 28 on which they are arrested by a stop 40 for removal of head and tail burrs by cutting, snapping and twisting (or burrs are removed upstream of the chute). The moulds 3 mounted on a rotatable support are opened and closed by a stationary cam. The rotation of the gripping means 22 is synchronised with the rotation of mould support by a common drive, and the gripping jaws on the arms 23 are individually controlled by valves. <IMAGE></p> |
