PURPOSE:To prevent turbulance of a liquid column from a liquid sump nozzle and eliminate risk of cutting of wires, by concentrating the processing liquid, out of the overflow hole of a liquid sump provided above the work, to a single point and by allowing the liquid to be exhausted and dropped at a place away from the wire. CONSTITUTION:A hollow liquid sump 4 sorrounding the wire 3 is furnished above the work 2, the sump 4 being equipped with an injection tube 5, and an overflow hole 6 and a nozzle 7 are furnished at the upper and lower bottom surfaces to allow the wire penetrate in order to form a liquid column with the processing liquid dropping from the nozzle 7. The liquid sump 4 is provided around its periphery a groove 9, which opens upward so as to collect the processing liquid overflowed from the hole 6, and an exhaust hole 10 is provided protruding from the groove 9 in order to exhaust the processing liquid out of the groove to be dropped on a place away from the wire. |
