PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of an optional delivery, particularly a bookbinding printing function without missing images. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 103 judges whether or not the optional delivery 112 is connected to a printer 101 (S201). When the optional delivery is connected, information on an imaging region of the optional delivery is obtained (S202). It is judged whether the imaging region of the optional delivery 112 is different from an imaging region of the printer 101 when the bookbinding function is to be realized (S203). When the imaging regions are different, the imaging region is calculated (S204). In the case without the optional delivery 112 connected, when each imaging region is equal, the process for calculating the imaging region is not carried out. When printing data is sent from a host computer 201, the printing data is received (S205) and image data is generated (S206). |
