PURPOSE:To obtain an external preparation for skin synergistically improved in skin beautifying effect by using vitamin A acid and beautifying agent together. CONSTITUTION:(A) Vitamin A acid having effect decreasing melanin in keratinocyte by promoting release of corneum and (B) one or more kind of beautifying agents selected from L-ascorbic acid having action suppressing production of meranin, derivative thereof, kojic acid, glycoside of hydroquinone, placenta extract and compound expressed by formula II (R1 is H or OR3; R2 is straight-chain or branched saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon and when R1 is H, R2 is further 1-20C alkoxy of the above-mentioned hydrocarbon; R3 is 1-20C fatty acid residue are added as essentially ingredients to an external preparation at ratios of the ingredient A of >=0.0001wt.%, preferably 0.001-0.1wt.% and the ingredient B of 1-30wt.%, preferably 6-20wt.% to provide the external preparation for skin having truly excellent beautifying effect. |
