PURPOSE:To enable dense calcination at a low calcination temperature in a short time by adding specific amounts of PbO and NiO, as minor components, to a calcined powder high permittivity dielectric ceramic composition of Pb-Ti- Mg-Nb-Ni-W-O system. CONSTITUTION:Preliminarily calcined dielectric ceramic composition represented by formula IV where x+y+z=1 is prepared so that the molar composition comes into the pentagonal area having the following apexes: A (x=2.5; y=95; z=2.5), B (x=2.5; y=85; z=2.5), C (x=60; y=10; z=30), D (x=40; y=10; z=50), and E (x=2.5; y=90; z=7.5) in the trilinear coordinate shown in the figure, with the apexes of formulas I, II and III. The calcined powder is combined with 1 to 25mole% of PbO and 1 to 15mole% of NiO, as minor components to produce the subject high permittivity dielectric ceramic composition. |
