PURPOSE:To execute forward access at high speed at the time of accessing forward a copied stream file by providing a judgement part judging whether a file is a record file or the stream file. CONSTITUTION:At the time of second and succeeding forward access request for the copy file 20, the judgement part 13 judges whether file constitution information on the copy file 20 is set in a control file 21 or not. Then, it judges whether the copy file 20 being the object of access is the record file or the stream file in accordance with file constitution information. When the copy file 20 being the object of access is judged to be the stream file in accordance with the processing of the judgement part 13, an access execution part 12 can execute a forward access processing for the copy file 20 being the stream file without viewing head information of the copy file 20. Thus, the forward access processing for the stream file is executed at high speed.
