摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accurately decide a filter reproducing period by calculating average temperature in a filter based on exhaust gas temperature before and after the filter, and converting it to differential pressure in the reference state in an exhaust gas purifying device of engine for deciding the reproducing period of the filter corresponding to differential pressure before and after the filter. CONSTITUTION:A filter 1 for collecting particulate is provided on an exhaust gas system of an engine such as diesel engine, and pressure sensors 16, 17 for detecting exhaust gas pressure are provided before and after the filter 1. Next, exhaust gas temperature before and after the filter 1 is detected by temperature sensors 22, 23, and average temperature in the filter 1 is calculated by an average temperature calculating means A. Further, differential pressure before and after the filter 1 detected by the pressure sensors 16, 17 from the average temperature in the filter 1 is converted to differential pressure in the reference state by a differential pressure converting means B. And then, the converted differential pressure is compared with predetermined reproducing reference differential pressure, and a filter reproducing period is decided by a reproducing period detecting means C.</p>
