<p>PURPOSE:To easily recognize the charge/discharge state of a battery and to improve reliability by detecting the terminal voltage of a secondary battery for back-up outputting it as a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The secondary battery 3A receives power from an external equipment being supplied with power from a power source control part 4 and is charged when connected with the external equipment through a connecting part 1. The power source control part 4 supplies the power source to an impedance converting circuit, a voltage divider circuit, a voltage detecting circuit and an output circuit so that the respective circuits are activated. The terminal voltage of the battery 3A is divided by the voltage divider circuit with the impedance converting circuit. The detection result of the voltage detecting circuit is converted into the digiral signal by the output circuit and outputted to the connecting part 1. The external equipment checks the digital signal outputted by the connecting part 1 so that the charge state of the battery 3A is confirmed. Thus, a charge timing is easily and previously recognized and also the loss of stored contents due to forgetting the charging is easily confirmed.</p> |
