The safety device is inserted into the gun barrel and comprises a a number of essentially tubular catches (9) arranged one after the other on a shaft. The catches have angled end flanks (11, 12), enabling them to be pushed together with a small degree of play, and alternating catches protrude sideways to press against the inside of the barrel, making the device impossible to remove when locked. |
