<p>The object of this invention is to provide an electromagnetic relay which would comprise a smaller number of components and would be shorter than its predecessors. A movable block (60) and a contact mechanism in a conventional relay are arrayed in a linear fashion, which tends to increase the length of the relay. This relay, however, has a movable block (60) placed on a electromagnetic block (40), and a drive rod extending from the movable block drives a contact mechanism (30) which is installed on one side of the electromagnetic block (40) to shorten the length of the relay.</p> |
