PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE device in which the power consumption of a cooling fan is reduced and the noise level is also reduced by controlling the driving of the cooling fan of the device in accordance with the amount of the voice output. SOLUTION: A volume sensor 12, which is mounted on the main body of a KARAOKE device 1, measures the volume of the output of the device 1 and a CPU 2 takes in the output volume data through an A/D converter 13. The CPU 2 compares the reference output volume level, which is beforehand given, with the measured output volume. If the measured value is less than a reference level 1, a driving stop signal is outputted to a driving circuit 10 of a cooling fan 11. If the measured value of the output volume is larger than a first reference level and less than a second reference level, the driving control signal having a 50% driving factor is outputted to the circuit 10 of the fan 11. When the measured value of the output volume is larger than the second reference level, the driving control signal having a 100% driving factor is outputted to the circuit 10 of the fan 11. |
