PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the constitution and improve the efficiency of the speaker system which drives an electromagnetically coupled speaker with a digital signal. SOLUTION: The electromagnetically coupled speaker unit 10 and amplifiers 55A to 55P which correspond to the number of quantized bits of a digital audio signal are provided. The output terminals of the amplifiers 55A to 55P are connected to primary coils 1A to 1P and the amplifiers 55A to 55P are equalized in impedance to primary coils to which the amplifiers are connected. Respective bits of respective samples of the digital audio signal SD are amplified by the amplifiers 55A to 55P and supplied to the primary coils 1A to 1P. |
