<p>A plasma burner contains a holder (2) for fastening to a nozzle (3) that has an opening (30) at the bottom for the exit of an arc. The burner has a chamber 99) with a coolant circuit and which is connected thermally to the holder. There is an intermediate connector (4) outside the holder, joined to it by two insulating seals (5,6) so that the chamber is bounded by the seals, the holder and the intermediate connector. There is a shield (7) which simulates the lower section of the nozzle with its shape and which has a corresponding hole for the arc to emerge from. It is provided with means to fasten it to the intermediate connector.</p> |
