The antimicrobial urethral catheterization catheter subjected to the EOG sterilization is immersed at a ratio of 5 ml/cm2 in a Pseudomonas aeruginosa suspension regulated to a concentration of the number of living bacteria of 1&times;105 pieces/ml by a Burrow's solution diluted 50 times by the physiological salt solution and is so sterilized that the number of living bacteria in the immersion liquid after shaking and culturing for 24 hours at 37 deg.C of the catheter subjected to 7 times of the extraction manipulation by the physiological salt solution is <=1&times;106 pieces/ml. In addition, a stage for introducing the compound bondable to an antimicrobial agent into the urethral catheterization catheter, then a stage for introducing a silver compound into the surface by an aqueous solution of a water-soluble silver compound are carried out after molding of the catheter and before drying or heat treatment.
