PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical switch capable of being easily integrated in an extremely small array state by switching the optical path of input light made incident on a movable plane mirror, based on whether the movable mirror is raised up or pushed down. SOLUTION: A joint for a movable mirror 11, a slider for a movable mirror 12, a hinge on a movable mirror side 13a, a hinge on a slider side 13b, an actuator for pushing down a movable mirror 16 and an actuator for raising a movable mirror 17 are arranged. By using them, a movable mirror driving force transmission mechanism using the actuator 17 which raises up the movable plane mirror 4 so that the posture thereof becomes vertical to a plane substrate 10 with a first hinge 15 as a rotation center and the actuator 16 pushing down the mirror 4 along the substrate 10 is constituted. Thus, an optical switch constituted is obtained such that the optical path of the input light made incident on the mirror 4 can be switched, based on whether the mirror 4 is raised up or pushed down. |
