PURPOSE: A waste food treating apparatus is provided which makes rotation balance of a transferring screw excellent, and can also prevent abrasion of the screw edge. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes a pipe-shaped dewatering screen(3) having a plurality of dewatering holes(32), an inlet of the pulverized waste food located at the lower part of the dewatering screen(3), the transferring screw mounted inside the dewatering screen(3), wherein the pulverized waste food is transferred from the inlet upward by rotation of the transferring screw and simultaneously dewatered and discharged. Further, a plurality of slips(3a)(3b)(3c) expanded outward is located around the upper and lower part of the dewatering screen(3) eccentrically. |
