<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a card capable of inserting a bent card without increasing the dimension in the direction of height, and making the size small and compact. SOLUTION: A connector 1 for a card is constituted with a housing 10 for accepting and holding a plane card 2 inserted into a card accepting space 13 from an opening 13a formed in the front; plural contacts 50 installed in the housing 10, coming in contact with a plane contact of the card 2 inserted into the card accepting space 13 to transmit a signal and others. In the connector 1, opposite ends parts 10a, 10a for holding opposite ends of the card 2 of the front end part of the housing 10 having the opening 13a are extended in the front, and the front edge of an intermediate part 10b interposed between the opposite ends parts 10a, 10a is formed so as to narrow the width from the opposite ends parts 10a, 10a to the rear.</p> |
