<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport transmitting/receiving system adapted to synchronize during reproducing by giving a time stamp for reproducing and synchronizing with another stream by utilizing an empty band of an MPEG type transport stream and transmitting the stream. SOLUTION: The MPEG type transport stream transmitting/receiving system comprises a transmission means for transmitting the MPEG type transport stream; and a reception means for receiving the transport stream, recording, storing and reproducing the stream. The transmission means transmits a packet for constituting a predetermined broadcasting program to the empty band of the transport stream gives the time stamp, and transmits the stamp to a predetermined field. The reception means reproduces the stored broadcasting program by utilizing the time stamp.</p> |
