PURPOSE: An anti-theft device for a vehicle is provided to let the owner of a vehicle recognize the theft, burglary or breakage of a vehicle regardless of distance by using a cellular phone, to reduce the cost by using an existing cellular phone repeater, and to pursue the lost vehicle by using the hand-off function of a cellular phone when a vehicle is stolen. CONSTITUTION: An anti-theft device for a vehicle comprises a shock sensor unit(20), a microprocessor(100), a remote control receiving unit(200), and a shock level signal transmitting unit(300). If a shock is inputted to the microprocessor, the microprocessor compares the shock level to a predetermined shock level. If the input shock level is higher than the predetermined level, a pre-designated code corresponding to the shock level is generated. The code value is combined with the number of a cellular phone, and serial data are generated. The serial data outputs the shock level through the transmitting unit of the cellular phone. The shock level code signal is displayed on the cellular phone in the form of SMS(Short Message Service). Therefore, the user tele-monitors the state of vehicle. |
