发明名称 METHOD FOR DECREASING NITROGEN OXIDE IN COMBUSTION EXAUST GAS
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To convert NO and NO2 while maintaining a high denitration rate and suppressing residual NH3 by a dry type catalyst reduction method of converting at least part of the NO contained to NO2 by adding H2O to combustion exhaust gas then using NH3 as a reducing agent. CONSTITUTION:H2O2 is added from a line 2 to the NOx containing usually >=90% NO formed by a fire furnace 1a to convert the equivalent amount of NO to NO2. Following to this, NH3 is supplied from a line 3 to the NOx having been added and treated with H2O2, after which it is passed through a denitrating device 4 packed with reducing catalysts, whereby NO2 and NO are reduced to N2. With this method, an equivalent denitration rate is obtainable with the catalyst packing amounf of about 2/3 that of conventional methods because of the high reactivity of NH3 and the mixture of NO2 and NO; in addition, the unreacted residual NH3 is less.</p>
