摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a dichroic heat-sensitive paper printer capable of changing a color by pixels without increasing a printing time by lengthening a total current supply pulse conducting time of first and second thermal energy amounts for color developing first and second color developing layers to the second amount as compared with that to the first amount. SOLUTION: The dichroic heat-sensitive paper printer comprises two types of current supply pattern tables 32a having different pulse numbers by dots or different widths with the same pulse numbers to be used in a thermal head driving circuit 35 in a ROM 32 connected to a system bus 31 of a CPU 30. A current supply pulse is generated according to data corresponding to one of two types of current supply pulse patterns of the table 32a read by the CPU 30 by a current supply pulse generator, and two types of driving voltages are applied to corresponding heating resistors 4a. Since a red color is generated when the pattern has a high energy amount having a long total current supply time and a black color is generated when the pattern has a low energy amount having a short current supply time, the color can be changed by changing the current supply pulse number by one pixel.
