PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submersible toy capable of two-dimensionally moving to any location only by the drive of one motor. SOLUTION: The submersible toy comprises both a water flow generating mechanism and the motor (24) capable of normal and reverse rotation for driving rotation propulsion means (34 and 43), and the water flow generating mechanism is provided inside with a main body (32) having a major axis (33) extended forward and backward and the rotation propulsion means (34 and 43) and provided on the major axis (33). When the submersible toy (31) is placed in the water with the motor (24) not rotating, buoyancy and gravity acting on the submersible toy (31) are adjusted in such a way as to float the rotation propulsion means (34 and 43) at a location below a water level (21a). The submersible toy is constituted in such a way that the motor (24) may be normally rotated to generate a water flow (28) from the water flow generating mechanism in an upper right direction when viewed from the port side surface of the submersible toy for submerging the submersible toy (31) in an advancing direction and that the motor (24) may be reversely rotated to generate a water flow (29) from the water flow generating mechanism in an upper left direction for submerging the submersible toy in a reversing direction.
