PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus for a furnace in which oxygen blown out from an oxygen lance is prevented from directly striking ash on a furnace floor to scatter the ash, and it is unnecessary that blow-off speed of the oxygen from the oxygen lance is restricted, and further a self cooling capability of a nozzle section of the oxygen lance is satisfactorily kept unchanged. SOLUTION: A combustion apparatus of a furnace includes a heating burner 4 mounted on a furnace wall 3, and an oxygen lance 13 mounted on the furnace wall 3 located in the vicinity of the heating burner 4. The oxygen lance 13 includes an oxygen introduction tube 8 inserted into the furnace through a through-hole 14 provided in the furnace wall 3 perpendicularly to the wall surface of the furnace, and an oxygen blow-off nozzle section 9 provided on the tip end of the oxygen introduction tube 8. As a result, oxygen is blown out from the oxygen blow-off nozzle section 9 toward a combustion flame 7 blown out from the heating burner 4 into the furnace. |
