PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable connector capable of preventing a cylinder part of an external conductor having a slit from deformation or erroneous fitting in a state of off-centered fitting when a receptacle as a mate connector is fitted. SOLUTION: The coaxial cable connector has a contact 3 to which, a center conductor 1a of the coaxial cable is connected, an insulation body 4 housing the contact 3 inside, and an external conductor 5 to which, an outer peripheral conductor 1c of the coaxial cable 1 is connected, having a cylinder-shaped part 6 with a slit 6a arranged at the outside of the insulation body 4 with a ring-shaped space 12. A top end face 4e of the insulation body 4 is made to protrude farther than the top end of the cylinder-shaped part 6 with slits 6a in insertion direction. The top end face 4e of the insulation body 4 is made to locate within a minimum insertion area which is formed when inserting a cylinder-shaped conductor 17 of the receptacle 13 between two adjacent slits 6a of the cylinder-shaped part 6, in a view from insertion direction.
