PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to immediately retrieve a music including phrase and word coming into his or her head in present mood, and select the music desired to sing among the found musics. SOLUTION: A music database 11 in a Karaoke center 20 is composed of the music data related to music number and music name data and the text data of the music. A retrieval program 14 to retrieve the text data is provided and characters and symbols for retrieval are transmitted to the center 20 from a Karaoke terminal 1. In the center 20, the text data 32 are retrieved by the program 14 based on the characters and the symbols to select the music number and the music name related to the data 32, including the characters and the symbols. Then, the selected result is transmitted to the terminal 1 and displayed on a screen 3. |
